It started with a strap.

I didn't set out to make harnesses. I needed a new strap for my tool belt, so I cut one from an old leather belt I had lying around. That was the whole plan.

Except it wasn't. One repair turned into buying remnant packs just to have leather on hand. Remnant packs turned into small projects — whatever needed making next. And somewhere in there, without really deciding to, I was building harnesses.

There's no formal training behind this. No apprenticeship, no design degree — just a lot of trial and error, a growing respect for the material, and a real love of building something with my hands that didn't exist before I made it.

Every piece that leaves this bench gets the same care that first belt strap did — I just know a lot more now about what I'm doing.
