From the first conversation to a finished harness

Every commission runs the same six steps, and you can see where yours stands at any point on your own private page.

  1. The Crossing

    You describe the harness — fit, style, hardware, what you're imagining. Photos of anything you love help. Nothing is charged at this stage.

  2. The Toll

    The work is priced in the open: leather, hardware, thread, hours at the bench. You see the arithmetic, not just a number.

  3. The Weaving

    A written proposal lands on your own private page — the harness, the materials, the timeline and the investment.

  4. The Bond

    A plain-language contract for the work, signed on the same page by typing or drawing your name. A copy is yours to keep.

  5. The Offering

    A deposit books the bench time. Zelle details sit on your page; once it's sent, your balance updates.

  6. The Making

    Cut, dyed, stitched, and finished by hand, with progress notes along the way until it's finished and in your hands.

Step 01 — The Crossing

Tell me about the harness.

This harness is built entirely around you — your measurements, your colors, your hardware. Tell me what you're imagining, and we'll build it together.

Wrap a tape measure (or a string, then measure the string flat) around your upper chest at the height a harness would sit. Relaxed, not pulled tight.

e.g. brass, copper, nickel, gunmetal, or black — antiqued or standard finish, your call.

Describe what you want — style details, inspiration, anything you've seen and loved, or just what's in your head.

Taller/larger frame, broad shoulders, a harness that didn't fit right before, anything unusual about your shape.

Every harness is made to order and built around adjustable strap holes for shoulder and side fit. If your build is outside the typical range, just mention it above — we'll work it out before anything gets cut.

Each harness is made to order — plan on 2–3 weeks from when we finalize the details to when it ships.
